How to Heal Your Gut

One of  the school’s students shared this great book with us.  I have since purchased it for the school’s library.

I found it to be well set out, easy to read and with a good selection of recipes.  The writer helps the reader to begin by healing the gut-body barrier and then to heal the gut.

It includes a simple test for levels of candida in the gut.  Basically spit in a glass as soon as you wake and wait for 10 minutes, if the spit floats levels of candida are good, if the spit sinks then the levels are high. Simple and easy advice for gut health, a must with all the stress nowadays.

A great book, thanks Beks!

Reflexology Diploma 2017 Congratulations all round.

A year can seem a long time to study and travel to Oamaru, in beautiful North Otago.  But suddenly the year is over and it is time for the final examinations and a parting of company.  The year has flew by, students have become friends and the great group dynamics has made teaching, learning and sharing a real pleasure.

Congratulations to them all for passing their Reflexology Diploma 2017 Theory and Practical Examinations.

I would like to thank them for their kind words and gifts. I adore my heavy copper buddas’.

They rock! I will miss their monthly visits to class.

Training with Mauricio Kruchik

I have just had the best weekend partaking in an exceptional training event with Mauricio Kruchik.  Reflexology for Pain Management.  As the Reflexology Tutor for Southern Therapies School of NZ,  I understand the need to continually keep learning new and exciting techniques in the growing field of reflexology.  Moshe (Mauricio) is a vibrant and incredibly learned tutor who uses movement, ice and weights to achieve amazing results. Having taught for 18 years worldwide we were very lucky to have him in Christchurch  with us (Huge thanks to the Southern Reflexology Group for organizing this event).  I am looking forward to the possibility of the STS of NZ hosting him again in NZ in the future – watch this space!

It was fantastic to catch up with my fellow reflexologists and friends whom I have not seen for a while and to meet many new ones  20161105_165449 20161105_165545 20161105_165554
